We are delighted to share the news that a dedicated police base has officially returned to Shrewsbury town centre after the previous town centre station closed over five years ago. 

The new facility in the town centre, brings officers back into the heart of the town and marks a significant step in strengthening neighbourhood policing, improving  response times, and increasing perceptions of safety in the town centre.

The presence of officers in the town centre will underpin our wider partnership work and provide added resilience to projects such as the Shrewsbury Rangers and Shrewsbury Watch. It will also help to reduce response times, improve visibility, and further reassure businesses, residents and visitors.
